San Francisco Will Launch A Marijuana Newspaper In 2015
San Francisco Marijuana Market Can Benefit
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – The San Francisco Media Company is replacing the San Francisco Bay Guardian with the Bay Area’s first marijuana-themed newspaper. Complete details are still incomplete but this could open the door for both marijuana delivery, marijuana growers and consumers.
According to the online site “The Desk” and journalist Matthew Keys, the paper will be called the San Francisco Evergreen and is scheduled for a formal launch on January 26. A genius idea and concept, this new marijuana newspaper is expected to be a new large market for marijuana industry officials. We expect others to follow suit and the rumors are already roaming.
The San Francisco Bay Guardian published its final issue on October 15. The weekly alternative newspaper had been one of the leading progressive voices in San Francisco for 48 years. San Francisco Media Company said the closure was for financial reasons. The company also runs the San Francisco Examiner and SF Weekly.
”The Desk” cites sources with knowledge of the paper’s forthcoming plans and said designers have already created a mock-up of what the newspaper will look like, and sales staffers are already reaching out to potential advertisers.
The newspaper is expected to have an online presence at SFEvergreen.com. Stay up-to-date at CannaHealth for the latest marijuana news, proudly serving Northern California.
